My new friend: Duong.
We met next to the lighthouse.
On Friday we just jumped on our new motorbike and we rode out from Saigon, (HCMC).
It’s a huge city with more than 8 million people, we needed at least 3-4 hours just to get out from there. Our trip was long even if it was only 2 and half days, but it was really nice and we experienced a lot about the countryside.
We would like to share these memories with you, so check out the video too! It’s in Hungarian language, but you can turn on the English subtitles. (The next videos will be made in English.)
Our trip started on Friday afternoon. You can see the map about our travel below. We arrived back to HCMC at Sunday night, just before the World Cup Final. If you want to learn more about these areas and our travels,

Vũng Tàu is a port city and the capital of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province, on a peninsula in southern Vietnam. Once a French colonial town, it’s now a popular seaside resort that draws many visitors from Ho Chi Minh City. Its long, busy stretch of sandy coast, including Front Beach and Pineapple Beach, has the verdant Small Mountain and Big Mountain as backdrop.
They have a lot of interesting places: the lighthouse, which you can see on the video behind me. It’s a famous building, the French colonia built it in 1862. You can see the lights at nighttime from 65km away. There is a famous statue of Jesus Christ on the Small Mountain, similar to the on in Rio De Janeiro. From the mountain we had a beautiful view, you will see that in our next video.
Vũng Tàu is the only petroleum base of Vietnam where crude oil and gas exploitation activities dominate the city’s economy and contribute principal income to Vietnam’s budget and export volume. Vũng Tàu is home to 210,000 people, of which 1250 are Russians working as specialists in the oil industry.
